Thoughts of parents, students and alumni about our school.

I graduated from this school three years ago. It is a good school! The teachers are not mean, and the principal is fine too. If there were any problems, they were never groundless. Nobody was picked on. Whoever studied got decent marks. Everything was calm, without scandals. And the students in class got on well with each other.

We moved to Oleksandrivka from another village. We were pleasantly surprised that the school is modern, large and clean. There are teachers for every subject. Children are treated with respect and always helped to improve. My children are in primary and senior grades. We are happy with their class teachers, and the administration always helps to solve any problem.

My children go to this school. We have no alternative — taking them to the city is inconvenient. But we are completely satisfied. All the teachers do their job diligently, resolve any conflicts immediately and make sure there is no aggression between students. The school is clean and cosy. It is clear that the administration works hard to make it a pleasant place for both children and teachers.

I like the school! Especially our class! We are together not only in lessons but outside school as well. We enjoy helping to organise different celebrations. We think school is not only about studying, although that matters. School should also be fun, so that we have something to remember when we grow up.

I like the school, but I would like more sports sections and clubs. Not all parents can take their children to clubs in the city, and many would like their child to develop in different ways. Unfortunately there is nothing for teenagers in our village — the school is the only hope. It is good that karate and yoga sections have appeared recently.

Thank you to the principal and the teachers for their hard work. In recent years the school’s facilities have improved considerably. Children are happy to walk into modern classrooms, and we parents are confident they get an education no worse than in city schools. At assemblies, when our children receive awards, it is a pleasure to see how many strong students we have, and how the teachers let them prove themselves in various contests.
