A curriculum is a single set of educational components planned and organised by the school so that students achieve learning outcomes. It is based on the State Standard of General Secondary Education for the relevant level.

Subject and course programmes are created by teachers, individually or together, based on the Standard or on a model programme.

Methodological work is an important part of teacher education: a coherent system of actions aimed at raising the qualifications and professional skill of every teacher, developing creative potential and achieving good educational results.

Assessment is the process of establishing a student’s level of achievement in a subject according to the current programmes. The requirements take children’s age into account and are set out separately for grades 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Assessment results are confidential and available only to the child and their parents or legal guardians.
